Here's our thoughts on the next 30 years of work:

Here are the numbers:

  • Organizations in the top quartile for gender diversity on their executive teams were 25% more likely to experience above-average profitability than companies in the fourth quartile.
  • Companies that have improved their inclusion of persons with disabilities over time were four times more likely than others to have total shareholder returns that outperform those of their peer group.
  • Teams with the most ethnically/culturally diverse leaders – not only in terms of absolute representation, but also of the variety or mix of ethnicities – are 36% more likely to outperform their peers on profitability.

Here’s our fight and why we’re in it:

  • Because the unemployment rate for people with disabilities is more than double for those without
  • Because everybody deserves to make a liveable wage and subminimum wage is still legal
  • Because women earn less than men for the same work
  • Because racism is institutionalized, and the conversations are still too hard to navigate
  • Because not enough people are talking, and very few are listening
  • Because within empathy lives are changed
  • Because people first, always.
